You do not pass DELE B2 just by “knowing Spanish” — you pass it by knowing the exam. After guiding many candidates, this is the plan I recommend.

Know the four papers

Reading comprehension, listening, writing and speaking. Each has its own format, timing and traps.

The most common mistake

Spending 80 % of your time on grammar. DELE tests communicative tasks: describing, arguing, proposing. Grammar is the means, not the goal.

The 8-week plan

  • Weeks 1–2: diagnosis with one full mock exam.
  • Weeks 3–5: one skill per week, with timed tasks.
  • Weeks 6–7: full mock exams under real conditions.
  • Week 8: light review and exam-day strategy.
